GQ Golf was founded by Granville Quinton in 1995 in Kissimmee FL. with one store. In 1997 the Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales FL. became the home of the second GQ Golf store. In that same year the Kissimmee store was closed because of road construction. In 2009, the Eagle Ridge location was closed and the store was moved to the High Pointe Centre on Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven, FL.
